Cuzco Restaurante
About This Spot
Stepping into Cuzco Restaurante near Parque de la 93 feels like entering a quietly elegant corner of Peru transplanted into the vibrant heart of Bogotá. The space carries a gentle warmth, where the hum of conversation blends with the subtle notes of decor that honor the rich Peruvian heritage without overwhelming the senses. It’s a place where time slows just enough to savor not only the food but the moments shared around the table.
The atmosphere here leans toward a refined neighborhood dining experience — relaxed yet thoughtfully polished, encouraging lingering over meals that feel thoughtfully prepared. Whether arriving for a midday gathering or an evening meal, there’s a soft rhythm to the place, a balance between attentive service and a casual comfort that invites genuine connection.
Food at Cuzco Restaurante is less about the kitchen’s showcase of famous Peruvian staples and more about the texture and harmony they create on the plate. The celebration of fresh ingredients and layers of flavor come alive in dishes where the familiar meets the unexpected — the subtle tang of a ceviche, the delicate crust of a causa, or the refreshing zest of a well-made Pisco Sour. These are moments designed to be discovered slowly and enjoyed collectively, where each bite unfolds a story anchored in both tradition and personal interpretation.
While the restaurant holds a polished, somewhat upscale air, it remains approachable, drawing a diverse crowd of food lovers who appreciate the care behind each preparation. The environment encourages curiosity—whether it’s trying an inventive twist on classic lomo saltado or savoring a dessert that melts softly into conversation. Cuzco Restaurante quietly invites its visitors to appreciate a slice of Peruvian culture that feels both genuine and lovingly reimagined in the Bogotá setting.
Set in an elegant stretch just steps from the park’s leafy buzz, the location adds an extra layer to the experience. It’s a spot that draws those seeking the comfort of familiar flavors as well as those open to the intrigue of new tastes, all against a backdrop of Bogotá’s lively social energy. Here, the pace is measured but never rushed, perfect for sharing good food, good drinks, and subtle human moments that linger well beyond the meal.

For a Peruvian restaurant I would have expected Peruvian music. The meat was delicious but the ceviche was ok

A year ago we went to Cuzco and we loved the food! This time we went to Bogota was a great auspice to find a Peruvian restaurant and… Wow! What a place besides that feels so good the good has that taste of Cuzco. If you are an enthusiast of the Peruvian food this a great restaurant. One caveat is little pricey but worth every bite!

Spectacular experience. I’ve come here twice and every time, I try a new dish that they have as well as try their drinks. I do recommend the sangria otoño and the cocktail de Chica Morada. We got there as soon as it opened at noon so we had no wait, thankfully. But most of the seating is reserved so I would highly suggest that you reserve in advance.

This restaurant is located next to Parque de la 93 in a very nice area of Bogota. The wait staff wasn't very fluent in English but they did bring me an English menu to order from. I've never had Peruvian food before but it was a big hit for me. The Taste and texture were perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed everything that I had. If you're ever in Bogota this is a nice little place to visit with great food and after you eat you can walk through the park to work off some of those extra calories you just had

Go inside - it's beautiful inside. We had the seafood & rice with Roquefort cheese sauce - and a simple salmon plate. We started with a causa - shrimp. Very good.
